TOOLKIT for Garden and Food-Themed Youth Summer Programs
As part of a grant received from the Arkansas Community Foundation, in 2009, ASN implemented "From the Ground Up," a summer program for youth in the neighborhood around Felder Farm. As part of this program, we have created a toolkit for youth agencies, churches, and neighborhood groups to assist with garden and food-themed programming. The toolkit contains useful tips and advice regarding program planning, budgeting, and activities, as well as easy-to-use templates for program forms, schedules, and surveys. For more information on how you can obtain a copy, email us at EmailASN(at)gmail.com, or call us at 501-372-6996.
COMMUNITY GARDEN LIST AND VIRTUAL TOUR PRESENTATION
Noting that up-to-date lists of community gardens in Little Rock and Central Arkansas are hard to find, we have begun developing a list of gardens. We also have 20 minute presentation, a virtual tour of community gardens that is available for community events and programs. Please contact us to schedule a presentation, for more information about the gardens listed here, or to add your community garden to our list.
