Green Home Show
Playhouse Competition
Start Small. Think Big. Live Green.

This competition has a simple goal: Inspire lots of people (big and little) to
take steps to make their own homes a little healthier and easier on the
environment.

The 2008 Natural State Expo Playhouse Competition will show both kids and
adults how we can all take action to make our homes healthier and more
cost and energy efficient.

Groups of young people from across the state of Arkansas are invited to
submit playhouses of their own original invention. The playhouses should
inspire families to take steps—small or large—to make their homes more
environmentally-friendly.

The two categories for entries are: 1) Miniature playhouse models, and
2) functional, life-size playhouses. Playhouses can demonstrate green
building methods, incorporate reused and recycled materials, and/or
educate people about environmentally sustainable practices.
We welcome young artists, visionaries, intellectuals, and inventors to take
advantage of this exciting opportunity.

The competition will be held in October of 2008 at the Natural State Expo
Green Home Show, held in the Statehouse Convention Center in downtown
Little Rock. Winners will receive recognition and prizes.
